“My husband, myself and two kids (ages 3 and 5) stayed 2 weekend nites at the Mariner in July. We found the rate to be reasonable ($145/night) and the motel to be in excellent refurbished condition. Very clean, all new paint in and out, new carpeting, brand new fridge/freezer and microwave in room. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great pools (in and out) with new patio furniture and hot tub for the adults. Grounds are immaculate, beautiful gardens with views of the river/marsh and ocean in distance. A great find north of Ogunquit Center right on the trolley line.
An easy ride to the beaches. We discovered Footbridge Beach and it was beautiful. Pay parking lot, public bathrooms, snack bar. Soft sand, tons of beach at low tide, no rocks or seaweed. Water is cold but that's to be expected in Maine!
We will definitely return to the Mariner!”

“We have been to Ogunquit many times, but this was our first stay at the
Mariner Resort. It definitely won't be our last. First of all, management
was delightful; second of all, our rooms (we had two adjoining rooms, a king
room, and a room with 2 queen beds), had been completely renovated for the
season. One of the best beds we have ever slept in, and perhaps the best
shower we have ever taken! The rooms were immaculate and promptly cleaned
each day. Each room can be heated or cooled individually, which was useful
as the outside temperature was 60 degrees when we arrived, and 90 when we
left!Each room was equipped with a full size refrigerator, full size microwave, and a table.
There is a very nice indoor pool, a lovely outdoor pool, a hot tub and an exercise room. Complimentary coffee & tea are available all day.
I just want to say we had a wonderful time in Ogunquit. We always enjoy our stay at the Mariner and plan to make it part of our vacation next year again. Thanks for everything.”

“When we planned a recent trip to Ogunquit, we decided to stay at The
Mariner Resort based on the favorable reviews it got on Trip Advisor. We
certainly made a good choice. We originally booked two nights, but liked The
Mariner so much, and found so many fun things to do in the area, that we
extended our stay to 10 nights.
As many reviewers have stated, the property is spotless. The housekeeping
staff were pleasant and unobtrusive. The room was spacious and comfortable,
and the furniture was good quality. The microwave and large refrigerator,
which were also immaculately clean, were a great convenience.
The people at the front desk, especially Mary, Keith, and Scott, the owner,
were friendly, professional, and very helpful with directions, dining and
shopping suggestions, and general information about the area. They were very
nice and it was a pleasure to talk with them. The Mariner is centrally
located along Route 1 (a.k.a. Main Street). There are plenty of antique and
other shops, grocery stores, and great restaurants nearby. I would
definitely stay there again.”

long Columbus Day weekend getaway there. We keep going back because of the
great people who both own and run the inn. They are friendly and treat you
like family. Each room is spotless, and there are constantly upgrades going

brighter and updated lighting, new appliances, etc. Each visit provides
